To avoid mold, mildew and dry rot follow these tips:
- Make sure the rafters are properly insulated and
the roof properly vented.
- If you show signs of water problems in your foundation,
they should be addressed beforehand. The key to success
is to make absolutely sure everything is waterproof!
- An Emergency Exit
such as an egress window is required in certain instances.
